As the market began to decline mid-2022, some suburbs performed far better than others.

The best-performing suburb on the Sunshine Coast in 2022 was Mudjima, which managed to not decline but hold a 5% capital growth

Worst performing suburb on the Sunshine Coast in 2022 was Sunshine Beach with a substantial 21.30% decline.

The best rental yield on the Sunshine Coast was Nambour with a healthy 4.47%

The worst rental yield on the Sunshine Coast was Sunshine Beach with just 2%

There were 2 suburbs with an average rental income of $1,000 per week, Twin Waters and Sunshine Beach.

The lowest average rental income of $545 pw was Burnside.
